Emerging Artist Mentorships Program
Overview / Purpose
Emerging Artist’s Mentorships is a program that is specifically designed to assist the development of artists in the first five years of practice. The mentorship provides a one-on-one professional training relationship with a significant artist.
Funding of up to $10,000 is available.
Who can apply
Individual artists are eligible to apply.
Eligible Activities
Applicants are required to supply high quality support material of their own work, such as slides, videos and CDs and, where possible, the work of their mentor.
Assessment Criteria
Applicants will be assessed on the following:
- Information provided for the proposed project.
- The professional status of the individual or group.
- A description of the proposed activities.
- Outcomes the mentorship seeks to achieve.
- The extent to which the mentorship will contribute to the development of arts and culture in South Australia.
All applicants must submit:
- A concise one-page project description of the activity to be undertaken with the grant.
- CVs or short biographical information on all artists and creative personnel involved in the project.
- Confirmation of activities associated with the project.
- Letters of support.
- Budget.
